Welcome to Ghithaa!

These terms and conditions apply to the Ghithaa application including, without limitation, Ghithaa iOS app, Android app, or web app (collectively, "the Application"). As used in these Terms & Conditions, "Ghithaa", "we", "us", or "our" refers to Ghithaa Smart Catering Services and its subsidiaries and affiliates. Your use of the application is subject to these terms and conditions. By accessing or using the Application in any manner, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in their entirety. Any user or entity that interacts with the Application through the use of crawlers, robots, browsers, data mining, or extraction tools, or other functionalities, whether installed or placed by such person or entity or a third party, is considered to be using the Application and bound by these Terms & Conditions. If at any time you do not accept all or part of these Terms & Conditions, you must immediately cease using all or any part of the Application.

Working Hours

The official working hours for management are from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM from Sunday to Thursday.

Our Delivery Policies

We strive to ensure that your order reaches you swiftly and efficiently. Please also be aware that there are exceptions that might prevent delivery including: Delivery outside the designated delivery area, outside specified working hours, under harsh weather conditions or dangerous driving circumstances, to individuals under the legal age, or to public places, or in situations that may conflict with our operational standards, or if an incorrect address is provided, you will bear the order charges even if we did not deliver.

Meal Receiving Methods:

Personal delivery: If you choose the personal delivery method and are not present at the pre-specified time and place, and we are unable to communicate with you within 10 minutes of the delivery representative's arrival and call to you to receive the meals (in case you selected "contact by the representative"), you will be charged for the order even if we did not deliver. Specified Location: We will not bear any additional responsibility for loss of product, damage, theft, pest infestation, or harm caused by others for any delivery left at the specified location, and you will be charged for the order. You have the option to specify a suitable delivery time:

In Jeddah:

Morning slot: from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Evening slot: from 4:30 PM to 11:30 PM (Night Before). Orders for evening delivery must be placed a day in advance. For example, if you choose evening delivery for Sunday, your meals will arrive on Saturday evening.

In Makkah:

Morning slot: from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Please note that we have the right to change these times whenever necessary to ensure the fastest and best way to deliver your order, and we will communicate with you in case of changes. Also, please note that if you choose the evening period, we will deliver the meals the day before the specified day in the evening period. Example: If you have selected Saturday and chose the evening period, we will deliver it on Friday (the day before) in the evening period. If you wish to modify the delivery method and/or delivery time and/or location, you must enter the application and modify from there or contact our customer service department, and your request will be activated within 72 hours.

Subscription Days:

The number of subscription days is determined to fit your plan. We provide you with:

  • 5 days

  • 6 days

  • 20 days (delivery 5 days a week)

  • 24 days (delivery 6 days a week)

Specific Meal Menu:

You can modify the choices of your weekly meal options through your subscription in the application. The modification request on the selected dishes will be activated after 72 hours to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of meal preparation and delivery. Please be aware that once your subscription is active, we will automatically select dishes for you. To avoid any dish you do not prefer, please enter the meal menu through your application to select the specific dishes you want. If you do not modify or change it, we do not bear responsibility for that. In case of delivery of meals different from the meals specified and selected by you, you must immediately contact customer service with a photo of the label showing on the meal (meal information). The quality department will check and take the necessary action.

Subscription Freezing

You can pause your subscription twice during a single subscription period, and the duration of the pause depends on the length of your subscription:

  • If your subscription is for 5 days, you can pause it for a maximum of two days.

  • If your subscription is for 6 days, you can pause it for a maximum of three days.

  • If your subscription is for 20 days, you can pause it for a maximum of eight days.

  • If your subscription is for 24 days, you can pause it for a maximum of ten days.

Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription from the date of payment completion until the first 5 days from the start date of your subscription.

  • If you wish to cancel your subscription within the first 5 days of the subscription start date, you must contact our customer service team and notify them during official working hours.

  • When canceling your subscription, two additional days will be deducted from your subscription, along with the days already used (if applicable), and a transfer fee will be deducted.

  • If you wish to cancel the subscription after the first 5 days of your subscription, two additional days will be deducted from your subscription, along with the days already used (if applicable), a transfer fee, and 30% of the original subscription amount.

  • The refund processing period ranges between 14 to 40 working days.

  • You are not eligible to cancel your subscription if you are subscribed to the trial package (one day).

Online Ordering

By subscribing through the application, you are responsible for verifying the accuracy of your subscription and ensuring the designated delivery address is correct. Registration for subscription is allowed for individuals who are at least 18 years old.

Out-of-Stock Items

If you order one or more items from the menu and they are not available in stock, we will attempt to contact you to provide you with the opportunity to choose alternative items. If no alternative items are designated, the item(s) for that day will be canceled and you will be compensated on another day.

Prices


All prices listed within the application are subject to change at any moment without prior notice. The price offered through the application represents the current price available at the present moment within your geographic area, superseding all previous prices for all products or plans. We may offer promotional prices, discounts for frequent customers, incentive prices, and loyalty discounts, as well as different pricing options for one or all of our subscription plans to some or all of our customers from time to time at our discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue, modify, or extend these offers at our discretion without prior notice to you.

Promotions

Ghithaa may, from time to time, offer promotions or organize other contests through which you can win food items, goods, and other materials (each referred to as "Contest"). By participating in any contest, you agree to adhere to these terms and conditions. Breaching these terms may result in disqualification. We reserve the right to make all decisions regarding these contests, and such decisions are final and binding in all respects. The prizes are determined by us at our sole discretion and may be changed, modified, or substituted by us at any time before or during the contest. We assure that we do not provide guarantees or representations, whether explicit or implicit, regarding any contests. Any conduct by you intended to undermine the legitimacy of the contest may be considered a violation of criminal and/or civil laws, and in the event of such an attempt, we reserve the right to cancel your account immediately and seek compensations and damages from you to the fullest extent permitted by law, including pursuing legal action.

Weight Loss and Health Claims

Ghithaa provides information about its products for educational purposes only and should not be considered as medical advice for individual conditions or treatment. This information does not substitute for professional medical advice and is not intended to replace the services provided by healthcare professionals.

Feedback

If you have any complaints or comments regarding the quality of food, packaging, or delivery, you can scan the QR code found on each meal to open the feedback page or directly contact our customer service team.

Health and Safety

At Ghithaa, we prioritize the quality and health of your meals. We take care in preparing, cooking, and storing your meals to high standards, then delivering them to you in refrigerated vehicles to maintain their nutritional value and prevent contamination or bacterial growth. Therefore, it is imperative that you store the meals in the refrigerator immediately upon receipt to maintain their safety. You should also clearly read and apply the reheating procedures for your meals, which are found on the lid of each meal. In the event of uncontrollable circumstances such as fires, natural or human-made epidemics, public health crises, earthquakes, explosions, conflicts, labor strikes, criminal activity, equipment failure, threats, terrorist activities, war, or other causes not under Ghithaa's control, Ghithaa reserves the right to alter, suspend, extend, or terminate the provided service and its terms.

We utilize the use of cookies. By accessing Ghithaa, you agree to the use of cookies in accordance with Ghithaa's privacy policy. Most interactive websites and applications use cookies to let us retrieve user details for each visit. Our site or application uses cookies to enable the functionality of certain areas to make it easier for people visiting our website or application.
